Winnipeg holds second place among 16 Canadian cities for affordability

According to Donnette Odidison, a broker and manager with Winnipeg RE/MAX Professionals in Winnipeg, the local market has stabilized since 2012 when it was considered a seller’s market.
The report from RE/MAX states that Winnipeg’s urban core, East Kildonan and St James remain the city’s most affordable areas.
In Winnipeg, home prices increased 1.5% from 2018 to 2019 and is expected to continue an upward swing of 2% this year.
